Following the worldwide uproar caused by the violent removal of passenger Dr. David Dao, United Airlines has announced that all passengers on the flight will be refunded their tickets.

The saga of the infamous United Airlines flight continues, with new information emerging from all sides.

During the debacle, staff offered $400 to fliers who were willing to give up their seat. When no one volunteered, the compensation offer was doubled to $800.

When that didn't work, staff chose passengers at random.

All passengers on the flight -- many of whom could be heard protesting the man's treatment and expressing their outrage on the video footage -- will now be refunded the cost of their tickets.

New footage has also emerged revealing the moments before flier Dr. David Dao was dragged off the plane by force, in which he can be heard arguing with the aviation security officers.

Around the same time that United CEO Oscar Munoz made public statements in an interview with ABC's "Good Morning America" on Wednesday, in which he apologized to Dao and the public and also affirmed he would not be stepping down, Dao filed his first court papers in Illinois State Court.

Meanwhile, in an interview with The Los Angeles Times, another United customer came forward to share a similar story in which he was asked to give up his seat -- despite having paid $1,000 for a full-fare, first-class ticket from Hawaii to Los Angeles -- in order to accommodate a VIP client higher on the United priority list.

When he refused, he said they threatened to take him off in handcuffs if they had to.

What's your reaction?
