Oscars 2024: Cillian Murphy Looks Dapper In Custom Versace Tux, Wears Special Oppenheimer Inspired Brooch 

Cillian Murphy’s style files are worth taking notes from, it is understated, chic and simply all things fine. He is not the biggest fan of bold looks but likes sedated yet striking outfits. At the Academy Awards 2024, Cillian looked handsome beyond words and his outfit is definitely worth discussing for all the right reasons.

Murphy who won at the Academy Awards 2024 for his impeccable performance in Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer, chose Versace for his special night. In an exclusive chat with GQ, Donatella Versace told GQ, “Cillian looks exquisite in this Atelier Versace tuxedo. This is Versace tailoring at its best. Every refined detail from the silk of his shirt to the cut of the jacket has been carefully considered. I love collaborating with him on his clothes—he understands and appreciates every stitch. He looks so sharp and powerful.”

Cillian’s outfit for the special night was an ode to his native Irish roots. Styled by Rose Forde, Cillian looked dapper in the custom-made Versace tuxedo suit which was tastefully paired with a crisp white shirt, black trousers and a black silk bow tie. The entire outfit was tailored to perfection and looked impeccable on Cillian.

To further accessorise the look, Cillian hit it out of the park by wearing a bespoke 18-karat yellow gold brooch designed by Hong Kong-based design label Sauvereign. This brooch was extremely special as it was a direct reference to J. Robert Oppenheimer’s creation- the atomic bomb. He completed the look with custom-made boots.

According to reports, the pair of patent leather boots that Cillian sported were a nod to his home country Ireland. These boots were specifically made for this grand occasion and definitely tied the look seamlessly well.
