2. Vivonne Bay

With its long curved sandy beach, it is a perfect location for picnic, beach combing, or fishing. The turquoise waters are a treat for surfers. A safe harbour is the base for cray and game fishing boats.

3. Southern Sky

Living in the city might deprive you of some of the wonders of nature. One such thing it the beautiful night sky. On clear nights you can see the stunning southern sky. Another great nocturnal experience is the Hanson Bay Sanctuary Tours. The tour offers fully guided 90 minute walks during which you can discover and learn about the nocturnal animals of Kangaroo Island.

4. Flinders Chase National Park

If you are a nature lover you don't want to miss the Flinders Chase National Park. One of Australia’s largest parks covering 74,000 hectares of untouched bushland, the park is home to a variety of fauna. Drive slowly through the park and you might get to see some great wildlife sightings.

5. Remarkable Rocks and Admiral’s Arch

Your trip to the Kangaroo Island will be incomplete without a trek to one of the island's signature landmarks, Remarkable Rocks. Home to an impressive natural formation which appears to be a cluster of precariously balanced boulders, many of the rocks are covered by golden orange lichen. Watching the sunrise or the sunset from the Remarkable Rocks may leaves you mesmerised but then don't forget to vist Admirals Arch. Another nature's beauty, you can see the fur seals frolicking in the waters or resting on the rocks.
