Italian-American actress Julia Fox has emerged as a fashion icon thanks to her creative DIY outfits. The 34-year-old model recently shot for the cover of Vogue Czechoslovakia and turned her polaroid pictures into a skirt. In an Instagram Reel, shared by the Uncut Gems star, Julia can be seen donning different outfits for the cover shoot.
In one of the shots, we can see her wearing a midi-length skirt that was fashioned from a patchwork of polaroid photos, while she held two photos over her bare breasts. If it was not clear already, she explained to viewers that all the photographs in the ensemble were of herself.
The video also included another look that featured Julia Fox in a gold fabric drapery. The actress wore her hair in the 60s-style hair reminiscent of Jane Fonda in Barbarella. The gown also featured a risque slit that went all the way up to her low waist.
A third look from the shoot featured Julia in a pink-and-red gown that she paired with a statement gemstone necklace and a cropped wig that may have taken inspiration from Sophia Loren and Linda Evangelista. All of the looks also incorporated Fox’s signature graphic eyeliner which she very proudly did herself.
Julia often shares DIY fashion ideas on Instagram. She had earlier shown how she cut her high-waist jeans to turn them into a low-rise pair of pants.
It should be noted that before Julia, our very own fashion influencer Uorfi Javed also pulled off a similar look. The former Bigg Boss OTT contestant had posed in a dress made out of her own pictures. Uorfi pulled off the look as she wore the off-shoulder dress comprising her own pictures in different expressions.
She also revealed that the idea of wearing her own pictures as an outfit came to her while she was surfing the internet.
