In an interview with Deadline, the Sex Education star shared the multitude of reasons behind her unconventional attire. She later expanded on the dress’s inspiration, revealing that, contrary to the bold anatomy embroidery, its primary theme was floral, specifically adorned with intricate peonies.
Inside the event, Anderson, having received a warm hug from Jennifer Garner, spoke about her love for the peony-covered dress. Each motif on the gown, as stated by the label, required an impressive 3.5 hours of meticulous embroidery.
Accessorizing the daring ensemble, Anderson adorned herself with an array of Chopard jewels. Notably, she wore an 18k white gold necklace featuring a 10-carat pear-shaped yellow diamond and nearly 30 carats of diamonds. Her earrings, crafted in 18k yellow gold and 18k white gold, boasted four pear-shaped yellow diamonds totaling 15 carats, complemented by a pair of white diamonds totaling 0.50 carats.
