The Hanteo Music Awards was held recently in a bid to honour the best Korean acts of 2023. While the award ceremony concluded on Day 2, the list of winners was announced with many K-pop biggies leading the line of winners among others like NewJeans and Stray Kids. The event was a star-studded affair with celebrities putting their best foot forward, a gesture by the South Korean boy band ZEROBASEONE that has now got the internet talking.

As the girl group won an award at the 31st Hanteo Music Awards, fans couldn’t help but notice that as the female members passed, Zhang Hao respectfully bowed down to each one of them individually. Besides him, other members of the group were also spotted enacting similar gestures for the members.
The videos have sparked a lot of reaction from social media users. While many appreciated their gesture and sense of respect towards the girl group, some also shared hilarious memes regarding the number of members tripleS has.
Hanteo Music Awards: Winners
The four biggest trophies of the ceremony were taken away by NCT Dream (Best Artist), SEVENTEEN (Best Album), and Stray Kids (Best Performance). Further, the fourth major award for Best Song was awarded to IVE for ‘I AM’. However, it was Aespa that emerged as the biggest winner with three separate awards including Artist of the Year, Best Trend Leader, and Global Generation Icon.
Among other notable winners included ATEEZ, RIIZE, and BTS members like V, Jimin, and Jungkook.

On the other hand, ZEROBASEONE also won the Artist of the Year award and Rookie of the Year – Male, while tripleS won the Rookie of the Year – Female award.
About 2024 Hanteo Music Awards
The 31st Hanteo Music Awards was held on February 17 and 18 at the Dongdaemun Design Plaza in Seoul. The event also saw some memorable performances by Billlie, Jeong Dong Won, ATEEZ, DAYBREAK, LUCY, Kep1er, JUST B, VANNER, TEMPEST, VIVIZ, Lee Chan Won, Kim Jae Hwan, Libelante and virtual boy group PLAVE.
Besides the performances, the awards night also saw a starry lineup with big K-pop names stepping out to grace the ceremony.
