BTS Star V's Comment On Old Post Featuring Pet Dog Yeotan Is Melting Hearts

Kim Taehyung aka V from the K-pop band BTS, is presently serving in the military. Nevertheless, he remains in the spotlight for numerous reasons. Recently, a heartfelt comment he made on an old Instagram post featuring his beloved pet dog, Kim Yeontan, caught fans’ attention.

A day ago, V took to the comment section of the Instagram post, which he shared on February 4, 2022, and wrote a comment in Korean, which translates to “I love you so much, Tanah,” followed by a red heart emoji. The post featured a slight glimpse of the K-pop star with his furry friend. As the comments were limited on the post, a fan account of BTS shared screenshots of Taehyung’s adorable remark.

Soon, others started reacting to it, highlighting that the K-pop star must be missing his furry friend. One fan wrote, “Omgg somebody bring tae his tannie back.” Another one said, “Yeontan, please be healthy always.” Meanwhile, a third fan of BTS’ V penned “TWO ANGELS.”

Kim Taehyung introduced his furry friend Yeontan to his fandom in 2017. The K-pop star even featured him in his album Layover, which was released last September. During his appearance on one of the episodes of Pixid, the Winter Bear singer revealed that his pet dog suffers from a rare heart condition, which has twice required surgery.

“I have a pet Pomeranian named Kim Yeontan. He’s been with me for seven years. Tan has a bad heart and has had surgery twice. But both times, it was unsuccessful. Every time it was unsuccessful, he could have died during the surgery. But his will kept him alive. I was so grateful that he fought for his life,” revealed Taehyung. This revelation made his fans very emotional as they knew the kind of bond the singer shared with his furry baby.

Kim Taehyung, who debuted as a member of one of the most successful K-pop bands, BTS, enlisted for military training in December last year. Before going for his compulsory duty, the K-pop star released his solo album, Layover, in September 2023. It featured six songs, including the lead single, Slow Dancing.

Despite not being active, he continues to release projects which he completed before joining the military. Taehyung collaborated with IU on Love Wins All and also made a cameo appearance in his team members Jungkook and Jimin’s travel show Are You Sure?! Apart from his singing endeavours, V is also known for being the face of luxury brands like Celine and Cartier.
