Recently, The Can’t Live Without Losing took to her Instagram stories and shared a picture of two earbuds. While one had the name “Jimin” written on it, another one featured “Da Eun”. The post left netizens confused with many wondering if Da Eun is finally confirming her relationship with the globally popular singer, Jimin.
Song Da Eun Leaves Jimin Fans Furious
However, Song Da Eun’s post has left Jimin’s fans disappointed and furious. Several ARMY members took to their respective X handles to claim that the actress is trying to use Jimin’s name for publicity. “She’s making it so obvious and people on Pann are staying still. I can’t get used to this,” one of the users wrote. “Check out her Instagram. She covered his face with a sticker but it’s so obvious that it’s Jimin. That girl is really attention-seeking,” added another. “If she really likes him and thinks of him, she wouldn’t make it that obvious like that. She gives off the vibes of an attention-seeker,” a third comment read.
When Did Jimin and Song Da Eun Dating Rumours Surface?
Rumours of BTS member Jimin dating Song Da Eun first surfaced online in 2022 when a now-deleted viral post shared a 12-photo collection of evidence which suggested the two stars might be in a relationship. While some of these photos showed Jimin and Song Da Eun at the same locations, another featured the two sporting the same accessories. One of the viral pictures also claimed that Jimin and Song Da Eun attended a soccer game on her birthday.
When Song Da Eun Addressed Jimin Dating Rumours
In October 2023, the actress talked about the rumours that she is dating BTS’ Jimin and slammed the singer’s fans for allegedly bothering her repeatedly. “Please ask the third party’s business to someone other than me and I’m in my right mind. Don’t threaten me about how scary the fandom is, and how I’m doing the things that I’ll be sued for,” she wrote.
“I’ve said it before, but I have been collecting data on Instagram and YouTube. There are quite a few people who talk about me posting old pictures, but I thought that even if I posted today’s picture, they would say it was old. I didn’t respond to those comments,” the actress added.
