2024 Asia Artist Awards Line-Up: LE SSERAFIM, Byeon Woo Seok, NewJeans To Attend

The 9th Asia Artist Awards (AAA), scheduled for December 27, has unveiled two lists of performers and one list of actors who will attend the event. The award ceremony will take place at Thammasat Stadium near Bangkok, Thailand, and will honour the achievements and international contributions of South Korean artists in Asian television, film and music.

The AAA previously revealed the first line-up of performers, which included K-pop groups NCT 127, ZEROBASEONE, NewJeans, QWER, and WayV, as well as soloist BIBI. According to the latest update released by Soompi on October 14, other K-pop artists who are set to impress viewers with their electrifying performances are LE SSERAFIM, EXO’s Suho, TWS, KISS OF LIFE, &TEAM, and WHIB.

LE SSERAFIM debuted in 2022 with their album Fearless. Over the years, they have released songs like Antifragile, Unforgiven and Eve, Psyche & the Bluebeard’s Wife. The group consists of five members: Sakura, Kim Chae-Won, Huh Yun-Jin, Kazuha, and Hong Eun-Chae. Whereas EXO’s Suho made his debut as a solo artist in 2020 with the release of his EP Self-Portrait. Fans can surely expect magical performances from LE SSERAFIM and Suho.

Just a year after their debut, KISS OF LIFE, comprising four members, Julie, Natty, Belle, and Haneul, achieved breakthrough results on the music charts with their latest title track, Sticky. Meanwhile, the K-pop boy bands TWS, &TEAM, and WHIB have successfully established bright futures with their latest releases. The rising status of these newbie groups is creating a buzz around their upcoming performances on the 9th AAA stage.

In other news, on October 11, the AAA unveiled the names of the K-actors who will be attending the ceremony. Popular actors like Kim Soo Hyun, Byeon Woo Seok, Kim Hye Yoon, Park Min Young, Jang Da Ah and Ahn Bo Hyun, among others, will attend the event. These actors are best known for their hit shows like Queen of Tears, Lovely Runner, Marry My Husband, Pyramid Game and See You In My 19th Life.

Merely days before unveiling the first list of performers at the 9th Asia Artist Awards, the ceremony’s organisers confirmed through Korean media outlets that IVE’s Jang Wonyoung and ZB1’s Sung Hanbin will be hosting this year’s event. The IVE member has been hosting the awards for four consecutive years since 2021, while the ZEROBASEONE leader made his debut as an MC at the AAA in 2023.
