Youth must work for uplift of society

KOCHI: Excise Minister K Babu has urged the youth to utilise their energy for the benefit of society and make sure that the various government schemes reach the public. He was speaking at a reception accorded to the MLAs at the Youth Icons Anglo-Indian School here on Monday.“The youth should work for the uplift of society, putting aside their personal interests,” he said. The minister said the Youth Icons School has a set model for the youth with its focus on arts, heritage, sports and education.  Mayor Tony Chammany was the chief guest. Youth Icons chairman Henry Austin presided over the meeting. MLAs Dominic Presentation, Benny Behanan and Ludy Louis were present.
