Womens Code Bill inhuman, says Thangal

MALAPPURAM: Terming the recommendations in the Women’s Code Bill inhuman, Muslim League state president Panakkad Syed Hyderali Shihab Thangal asked the government to reject the recommendations which violate individual liberty and fundamental rights of the citizen. In a press note, he said that birth regulations brought in the name of controlling the population would encourage foeticide, especially female foeticide.  Constitution allows all citizens to live according to their religious beliefs in matters related to their family, he said.
