New Delhi: In Jaipur, a 50-year-old woman has been trapped in a 200-feet deep borewell for over 15 hours.

Army personnel have been called in to rescue Usha Devi. CCTV camera has been installed inside the well and oxygen is being supplied to keep the trapped lady alive.

Usha's husband says she had been in depression.

But in a similar accident in Jharkhand's Dhanbad hope is fading for 17-year-old Pankaj Goswami.

Goswami fell into a mine shaft nine days ago.

The operation to save him has been called off and district officials have ordered the closure of the mine.

Goswami's parents are up in arms against the decision to close the mine.

They have accused district officials of letting him die inside the mine. A case has been registered against the mine owner - Bharat Cooking Coal Limited.
