BANGALORE: Selvi, 50, who was severely injured in a detonator explosion at a scrap yard in Hulimavu, succumbed to burn wounds at Victoria Hospital on Saturday. Meanwhile, the identity of the ragpicker, who was killed in the incident, is not yet known, the police said. On Saturday morning, a detonator had gone off when the ragpicker tried to separate the copper wire and other materials by a hammer. Selvi’s son Saravana and a local, who were injured in the incident are under treatment.
