The woman picked up a fight with policemen and later tried to throw a flower pot.
New Delhi: The Delhi Police on Wednesday detained a lady who protested against being forced to clear the road for Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the Raisina Hill in the national capital.
According to police, the Delhi Police was alerted by SPG to put security in place as Prime Minister Modi's cavalcade was to leave South Block in the national capital.
When the policemen installed barricades and were clearing the traffic, they spotted a woman, whom they asked to leave. The woman, however, picked up a fight with the policemen and later tried to throw a flower pot.
She was taken to Parliament Street police station. The incident took place near Raisina Hill.
