A woman was allegedly raped by three hospital staffers in Meerut.
New Delhi: A woman, who was admitted to the ICU of a private hospital in Meerut has allegedly been raped by three staffers.
Police officials were quoted by news agency PTI as saying that the woman, who was admitted to the ICU of M Prakash Nursing Home, was allegedly assaulted on the night of July 6.
The incident came to light when her relatives met her on Sunday in the hospital and she narrated her ordeal.
Relatives alleged that they had not been allowed to meet her on Saturday.
She was later admitted to Dufferin Hospital and a medical examination was conducted. The results of the medical examination are awaited, sources were quoted as saying.
