A video showing Bengaluru policemen debating who should transport an injured accident victim to the hospital, while delaying immediate medical assistance, has surfaced on the social media platforms.
In the video, the injured man wearing a blue kurta, is seen lying on the road with blood visibly coming from his ear. Despite the urgency, the two policemen were preoccupied with shifting responsibility to each other.

According to a News18 Kannada report, despite bystanders urging them to act quickly, the cops refused to take the injured person to the hospital in their Hoysala vehicle. Eventually, local residents took the injured man to a private hospital.
The injured person has been identified as Rahul, a resident of Srinagar. The accident occurred while he was returning home after visiting a friend, he lost control of his vehicle after hitting a hump. Rahul is currently receiving treatment at a private hospital in Sheshadripuram and is reported to be recovering.
The incident happened at midnight on July 15. One official is from the Bangalore Traffic Police, while the other is from the Law and Order Department, as per India Today report.
The publication also reported that the Bengaluru North Deputy Commissioner of Police (DC) has initiated action against the involved personnel.
“The incident occurred at midnight on July 15. It was a self-skid accident. Traffic personnel attended to it and called an ambulance. We have initiated an inquiry into the Hoysala staff and will take appropriate action. An FIR is lodged in the traffic police station, and the victim is recovering in the hospital,” a statement from the DCP’s office said.
