Water supply to be hit tomorrow

CHENNAI: Water supply in some parts of South Chennai, Mogappair West and Anna Nagar West will be hit on Friday due to works being carried out by Metro Water to provide water supply facilities to Ambattur.Metro Water managing director Dr. K Gopal said work will be undertaken from 8.00 am on Friday to 2.00 am on Saturday to provide water facilities to Ambattur. “There may be interruption of water supply,” he said.If water supply is affected, Area Engineer - VII 78450 61600;  Area Engineer - X 78450 61908; Area Engineer- XI 78450 00507 and Area Engineer-XIII 78450 61911 can be contacted for arranging water supply through lorries.
