Watch: Sushant Singh Rajput, Swastika Mukherjee shine out in the new trailer of 'Detective Byomkesh Bakshy'

The long awaited trailer of Dibakar Banerjee's 'Detective Byomkesh Bakshy' was released on YouTube on Wednesday. The trailer calls the protagonist a 'detective in making' as the film is about the first case of 'Byomkesh Bakshy', a literary sleuth created by Sharadindu Bandyopadhyay. The trailer throws much more light on the story than the teaser did and we also get to see the Sushant Singh Rajput in his new look. The film is set in the 1940's Kolkata and Dibakar Banerjee has said in many interviews that a lot of research went into the that and the period setting plays a major role in the movie. We also get to see the femme fatale character played by Bengali actress Swastika Mukherjee.
