Los Angeles: Actor Daniel Craig says he tried to inject some normalcy to the character of journalist Mikael Blomkvist in his forthcoming film 'The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo'. Craig, 43, who is famous for playing the flamboyant James Bond, has received postive reviews from critics for his portrayal of Blomkvist, Ace Showbiz reported.

"I wanted to look as much like a normal guy as possible. This guy is a journalist and he works very hard and maybe drinks a little too much, but when the thriller aspect of this movie kicks in, I wanted him to be in danger," he said.

Based on writer Stieg Larsson's crime thriller trilogy 'The Millenium Series', the film unravels the mystery surrounding the long-unsolved disappearance of an heiress as a journalist recently dinged by a libel case and a young female

hacker team up to resolve it, stirring up bundles of personal and industrial corruption along the way.

"Look, I'm a [director] David Fincher fan, so it was an easy choice to make when accepting this film. It's a great story. It's an adult movie. The babysitters are going to get, hopefully, a lot of money out of this film," he said.
