HYDERABAD: Describing the petition filed by YSR Congress honorary president YS Vijayamma against TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu and others as a bundle of lies, the Telugu Desam released the judgement copies of Yeleru land scam on Tuesday.The TDP contended that Rs 15.31 crore was misappropriated in paying compensation to Yeleru project oustees and Rs 12.28 crore had already been recovered.But Vijayamma, in her petition, stated that the Yeleru scam was worth Rs 400 crore. It was nothing but misleading the High Court, TDP senior leaders K Srihari and Ravula Chandrasekhara Reddy told reporters on Tuesday.The TDP leaders said in three judgments on Yeleru scam, the judges never found fault with politicians.A judge, some advocates and revenue officials were responsible for it.Vijayamma who was misled by others, might have blindly singed the petition seeking a CBI probe against Naidu, they said. After returning from a two-day visit to Delhi, Naidu held a meeting with the party seniors and apprised them of developments in the national capital. He reportedly told them that the national leaders were shocked after knowing the facts pertaining to contents in Vijayamma’s petition.The Telugu Desam Legislature Party (TDLP) will meet on November 30 to discuss the strategy to be adopted in the ensuing Assembly session.
