V-C appointments after by-elections

TIRUMALA: Governor ESL Narasimhan said vice-chancellors for some universities in the state were appointed, while the appointment of V-Cs for the remaining universities will be done after byelections.Speaking to mediapersons here on Monday, the governor, who arrived here on a two-day visit, said  he was extremely happy to get the second term as the governor of Andhra Pradesh and assured to strive for the welfare of the people.After offering prayers at Sri Padmavathi temple at Tiruchanur, the governor left for Tirumala.
