American govt asks citizens to maintain low profile in blockade region.
New Delhi: The US government has warned its citizens about the possibility of traffic disruptions on Thursday due to the Gurjar agitation in the National Capital Region (NCR), Uttar Pradesh and Haryana, and has advised them "to maintain a low profile, and avoid areas of traffic disruptions and political protest".
"There exists the possibility of traffic disruptions on roads, including the Jaipur-Delhi and Jaipur-Agra roadways. Inter-state train services are expected to be affected,” said the advisory put out by the US government,
"Americans travelling to and throughout the region are advised to maintain a low profile, and avoid areas of traffic disruptions and political protest."
