New Delhi: Delhi Police has received a complaint against singer Udit Narayan for allegedly not "honouring" commitments made to organisers of a music function held in the Capital on Thursday night.
A woman named Supriya from a South Delhi pooja samiti, which had organised the function at Kalkaji police station area, alleged in her complaint that Narayan had taken Rs 12 lakh for a two-hour performance.
"He not only arrived late at the function but also sang only for half-an-hour against the agreed two-hour performance thus dishonouring the promise made in the agreement he signed with us," the complainant said.
The police confirmed that they have received a complaint against the singer.
"We have received the complaint in this regard. But no case has been registered as we are investigating the matter," a police official at the Kalkaji police station said.
