Two sharpshooters in police net for murder of Awasiya Sahakari Samiti secretary

Two persons were on Wednesday arrested for the murder of a secretary of Awasiya Sahkari Samiti from Hapur Crossing here.

Kiran Pal and Ashuthosh, sharpshooters, were arrested for the murder of Narendra Tomar on December 16.

Tomar was shot dead by four armed assailants near Ghaziabad Development Authority (GDA) office when he was going to the Samiti's office on December 16, a police officer said.

"Kiran Pal and Ashutosh have confessed to their involvement in Narendra's murder, the officer said, adding that the duo was being interrogated for motive and about their accomplices.
