HYDERABAD: Telangana Joint Action Committee (TJAC) will chalk out its future course of action on T-movement shortly and will roll out a series of agitational programmes for the next 100 days. The TJAC leadership is of the opinion that this was right time to bring pressure on Centre on Telangana. In the wake of rumour mills churning out stories that the Centre would close the T-issue by announcing a special package to the region, the TJAC has decided to make it clear to the Centre that they would not accept anything less than a separate state. The leaders claim that they got an assurance from leader of the opposition in the Lok Sabha Sushma Swaraj that the BJP would raise the Telangana issue in the House and corner the UPA government.TJAC steering committee would meet in a day or two to finalise the course of agitation. TRS leadership too has directed its cadre to actively participate in the programmes of the TJAC.TJAC is planning to besiege Hyderabad for 48 hours, besides organising rail rokos and rasta rokos apart from blocking national and state highways. The dates of the programmes are yet to be finalisled.Similar programmes will also be organised in rural areas.Speaking reporters in Warangal, TJAC convener Prof M Kodandaram said that they would coordinate with all the T-forces while organising the programmes.
