New Delhi: Will Kanimozhi have to spend another month within the precincts of the high security Tihar jail? This is the question that is foremost in the minds of the people who are closely following the case of bail applications of Kanimozhi and Kalaignar TV Managing Director Sharad Kumar.
Friday was the last working day for the Delhi High Court before the summer recess and though many expected Justice Ajit Bharihoke to pronounce the verdict on Kanimozhi's bail plea, nothing transpired. The High Court will remain closed for the summer vacation from June 4 until July 4.
One aspect is that Justice Bharihoke may pronounce his orders during the summer vacation in view of the urgency of the matter concerning the liberty of an individual. In that case, he may come to court and pronounce the order.
