TDP women stage sit-in near CMO

HYDERABAD: Women activists of the Telugu Desam staged a demonstration in front of the Chief Minister’s Office at the Secretariat alleging growing atrocities on women in the state.Chief minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy was not in the office when the protest was staged.Over a dozen TDP women activists, led by Telugu Mahila president Shobha Hemavati, arrived one after the other in front of the Samatha Block, where the CMO is located, and staged a sit-in for about 30 minutes.They shouted slogans against the chief minister and the home minister alleging failure to check atrocities on women.
