Students victory lap stops traffic

CHENNAI: Traffic on Kamarajar Salai in Marina was held up for a little less than an hour owing to the fact that two buses, with close to sixty inebriated, jubilant students dancing on top, was doing a victory lap around Presidency College: the college union elections had been concluded and the results announced, leading to the extended celebration. Interestingly, the students held the numbers of the bus aloft for all and sundry to see, because in these elections, campaigns and support depend solely on how many ‘bus routes’ pledge support.
