BANGALORE: Chief Minister D V Sadananda Gowda asserted that Karnataka was the most ideal state for agribusiness investment. “Karnataka has laid special emphasis for agricultural growth by coming out with a separate budget for agriculture and an integrated agri-business development policy. This should drive agri-business industrialists to look towards Karnataka,” the CM addressed industrialists at a road show in Mumbai on Wednesday. According to Gowda, Karnataka also offers tremendous scope for multi-dimensional marketing, to make it a much sought-after destination for agri investment.“I consider growth of agriculture and allied sectors as means to accelerate the state’s GDP and ensure food security. My emphasis is on growth which is possible with synergy between all stakeholders.”
