A 12-year-old deaf and mute girl was allegedly raped by a man in a village in Fefna area in Ballia.
The incident took place on Thursday when the girl was alone in her house. The accused Sonu barged into the house and raped her, police said on Friday.
Police have registered an FIR in the matter and are trying to arrest the accused.
