HYDERABAD: A 35-year-old man was allegedly detained and tortured by the Central Crime Station (CCS) sleuths of Cyberabad police on the pretext of ‘questioning’.According to the police, Srisailam Yadav of Hastinapuram who is a scrap dealer, approached a jeweller to dispose of 15 tolas of gold ornaments with him.On a tip off, the Saroornagar CCS sleuths nabbed Srisailam on Saturday. “My brother stood near a hotel at Hastinapuram when he was picked up by some unidentified persons.Later, he was taken to the CCS office in Saroornagar.He was disrobed and beaten up,” Jagan Yadav alleged.Srisailam was allegedly tortured on the suspicion that he stole the gold ornaments.After questioning, he was let off in the evening.As Srisailam was unable to walk, he called up his family members and asked them to come.Later, Srisailam was admitted to hospital.
