New Delhi: The Supreme Court on Sunday expressed 'shock' over the growing number of deaths of Amarnath pilgrims.
Expressing concerns over the mounting death toll of Amarnath pilgrims, the apex court directed the government to increase medical aid to at least 3 times and also asked the high level team to visit the site during Amarnath Yatra.
The court also asked Jammu and Kashmir government to take help from the Centre and other states to provide immediate medical aids for pilgrims.
