Sauber extends engine contract with Ferrari
Ferrari has been Sauber's engine supplier since 2010, having earlier had a nine-year deal with the team.

Yeongam: Formula One team Sauber says it has extended its engine-supply contract with Ferrari, providing a smooth transition into a 2014 season when the series will switch to V6 turbo engines.

Sauber did not specify on Friday the length of the new deal - which covers engine, gearbox and the KERS power-boost system - beyond saying it was a "multi-year agreement."

Ferrari has been Sauber's engine supplier since 2010, having earlier had a nine-year deal with the team.

The announcement meant every F1 team except Lotus had confirmed its engine supplier for next season, which will have three companies - Ferrari, Mercedes and Renault - supplying the 11 teams.
