KOCHI: Controversial self-styled godman Santhosh Madhavan on Monday surrendered at the Central police station in the city as per the direction of the Kerala High Court.He, along with his wife and lawyer, came to the police station around 6 pm and surrendered before the Circle Inspector.He will be shifted to Poojapura Central jail.Santhosh Madhavan surrendered before the police, after the High Court dismissed his plea seeking suspension of his sentence. The court had directed Santhosh, who had been on bail, to surrender before police on Monday itself. “Going through the medical documents on the condition of the petitioner, the court finds it is not necessary for him to undergo inpatient treatment. Besides, the state government has submitted that it would provide adequate medical care when required,” the court said.
