Jaipur: The newly appointed Rajasthan state Congress president Sachin Pilot took charge on Wednesday. After taking the charge, he spoke to CNN-IBN. "Morale of the Congress worker needs to be enthused. Have to work unitedly to win confidence of people of Rajasthan again. The Congress will fight to win elections in Rajasthan," he said.
"We will not oppose Vasundhara Raje government for the sake of opposition, but will keep a close watch. We will make sure the Congress becomes relevant to the young people of the country by telling them what the party stands for," he added.
Commenting the on the AAP and Arvind Kejriwal's protest in Delhi, he said, "His performance is not encouraging so far. A government can't give the impression that there's anarchy in the system. For AAP the time to protest and do dharnas is over, now they must prove themselves. Language used by Kejriwal's cabinet members is unbecoming".
Reacting to reports on the AAP effect on Rajasthan government, he said, "It's a welcome step, but will have to see if it's sustainable and lasts long".
