KOCHI: Congress leader Lathika Subhash has come out strongly against the remarks by V S Achuthanandan on Sindhu Joy. Lathika said she would write a letter to CPM politburo member Brinda Karat to bring the issue to the latter’s attention.“It is highly objectionable. How can he say something like this about an unmarried woman? Who gave him the licence to make such comments? Of late, there are lot of allegations against him and his son. This remark could be an attempt to divert  public attention from such issues. I have already drafted a letter to be sent to Brinda Karat. Once the Piravom bypoll and related activities are over, the letter will be sent. It is time the CPM restrained Achuthanandan,” Lathika said.
