BANGALORE: Chief Minister D V Sadananda Gowda said on Monday that he would expand his five-month old Cabinet immediately after the by-elections in the five states were over. “Our national leaders are busy with the election campaign. Once they are free, I will meet them and finalise the date for the Cabinet expansion,” Gowda told reporters at his home office Krishna. When asked if the Cabinet expansion was being delayed due to the dissidence in the state BJP, Gowda said the party had faced many such revolts in the past and emerged stronger. So it would be wrong to say that rebellion is forcing us to postpone the Cabinet expansion. He also expressed confidence of overcoming the prevailing confusion in the party. “There are minor differences and we will resolve them. We are not sitting idle,” he added.
