Red ribbon rally by NCC cadets

BANGALORE: Air Commodore S S Deshpande, Deputy Director General of NCC Directorate Karnataka and Goa, flagged off a rally with 300 cadets to spread the message ‘Drugs are dangerous and stay away from unsafe sex - Think family and avoid AIDS’, on Thursday. Cadets from Christ College, enacted a skit on the consequences of drugs and unsafe intercourse. The skit was later performed at the Forum Mall, Koramangala, to spread the message  amongst youth, who were the primary target audience for the skit. A bicycle rally named ‘Red Ribbon Rally’ to spread the awareness about AIDS amongst youth, and a  poster making competition was organised on the theme: ‘The dangers of HIV and resultant ill effects of AIDS’.
