Mumbai: Bollywood sex symbol Mallika Sherawat is an earnest worker and a delight to work with, says her co-star Rahul Bose.
Screen siren Mallika is known for scantily clad appearances, both on and off the screen.
Rahul is seen as a 'serious' actor who stars in art films rather than mainstream commercial Bollywood releases.
But contrary to his image, Rahul is now appearing in a romantic comedy titled Pyar Ke Side Effects, in which Bose plays a man petrified of committing to a relationship.
In an interview to a Times of India, Rahul said that Mallika was very much focused on her work.
''I had gone to work on the sets with much apprehension. But she turned out to be a delight,'' Rahul said. ''No attitude, no tantrums. She is fully focused on her work and is very hardworking.''
In Mallika's most recent movie, The Myth, with Hong Kong action hero Jackie Chan, she played an Indian princess with whom Chan's character falls in love.
Mallika's debut film, Khwahish, hit the headlines with a record 17 kissing scenes.
''Who would've thought I'd be cast opposite Mallika? It seems as unlikely as me and Kareena Kapoor in Chameli," Rahul said.
Rahul has acted in more than 15 Indian movies. He stars in a thriller called The Whisperers, scheduled for release this year.
