Privilege motion against Jupalli?

HYDERABAD: Telangana Congress MLAs have decided to move a privilege motion against former minister Jupalli Krishna Rao who joined the TRS recently, for making a false allegation that they were gifted Toyota Fortuner and `1 crore each to ensure that they do not join the Telangana Rashtra Samithi.Addressing newsmen at the Congress Legislature Party office on Tuesday, Telangana MLAs B Bikshamaiah Goud, K Lakshma Reddy, Pratap Reddy and Balu Naik lashed out at Jupalli for ‘tarnishing’ the image of T Congress legislators. Jupalli himself once remarked that Telangana would not be a reality with the TRS and K Chandrasekhara Rao was an obstacle to formation of a separate state, they said.“We cannot tolerate if any further allegations are made against us.We will move a privilege motion and urge Assembly speaker Nadendla Manohar to take action against Jupalli.In fact, we are really committed to the T cause and ready to launch a hunger strike in Delhi to step up pressure on the Congress high command to deliver T,” they said.The Telangana Congress MLAs also said they would meet chief minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy to seek a CBI inquiry into KCR’s assets.KCR had amassed wealth worth crores of rupees in the name of Telangana movement, they said.
