HYDERABAD: The AP State Level Police Recruitment Board (APSLPRB) issued a notification to recruit 2,296 subinspectors and reserve SIs in various wings including civil (men and women), Armed Reserve, AP Special Police, Special Protection Force and as station fire officers in the AP Fire and Emergency Services Department.A large number of SI posts will be filled in the civil category giving a major boost to the inadequatelystaffed police department. For the post of SI, a candidate must be aged between 21 and 25 years as on July 1, 2011. For the SFO in the fire services department, the candidate must be aged between 18 and 30 years as on July 1, 2011. The upper age limit is relaxable as per the notification.Those who want to apply can download the prescribed application form from the website, www.apstatepolice.org in the recruitment folder and should be submitted along with necessary certificates at any of the six centres mentioned in the notification between 10 am and 1 pm on all working days between November 28, 2011 and January 28, 2012.The complete text of notification and application is available on www.apstatepolice.org in the recruitment folder.
