New Delhi: Former Union Cabinet Minister and senior Congress leader Anand Sharma condemned the terror attack on Pathankot and raised serious questions about the nature of peace negotiations, which came out during Prime Minister Narendra Modi's surprise visit to Pakistan to meet his counterpart Nawaz Sharif.
Speaking exclusively to CNN-IBN Sharma said, "This government (NDA) lacks clarity and vision. The Prime Minister (Narendra Modi) is indulging in theatrics instead of sound diplomacy when it comes to dealing with Pakistan."
"I would like to stress that diplomacy can't be dealt with in a cavalier manner. The government must share details of what conspired in NSA talks," he said.
"It is the duty of the government to inform the Opposition of foreign policy decisions. Was PM assured that Pakistan was fully backing a peace policy?" he added.
