Paritala Ravi murder: TD seeks fresh probe

HYDERABAD: Telugu Desam Party (TDP) on Friday demanded a fresh probe by the CBI into the murder of Paritala Ravindra. Speaking to reporters here, TDP leaders Bojjala Gopalakrishna Reddy and M Ligna Reddy alleged that those involved in the murder of Ravi were convicted but the conspirators were let off. The big wigs behind the murder of Ravi should also be punished, they demanded.The CBI should re-investigate the murder case and book the actual culprits, they demanded.The TD leaders demanded investigation into the role of Meena, the then Anantapur SP.They alleged that the government brought pressure on the CBI and deleted the name of YSR Congress party president YS Jagan Mohan Reddy from the FIR.
