Pakistan ISI asked Lashkar-e-Toiba to execute big terror strike in Delhi before January 26: Sources
Sources said that the LeT plot was exposed after phone calls were intercepted by agencies.

The Delhi Police have unearthed a major Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) plot to carry out terrorist strikes in Delhi. According to details accessed exclusively by CNN-IBN, LeT planned to target prominent personalities and crowded areas in the national capital.

Sources said that the LeT plot was exposed after phone calls were intercepted by agencies. They added that Pakistan intelligence group ISI asked LeT to take terrorist attacks beyond Jammu and Kashmir.

The terrorist group was ordered by the ISI to execute big terror in the national capital before January 26.

Earlier, Delhi Police in their FIR submitted before the anti terror court on December 1 mentioned that they have information about possible Fidayeen strikes in Delhi and its adjoining areas.

The FIR copy revealed that two LeT operatives identified as Dujana and Ujana have infiltrated in Jammu and Kashmir from PoK to carry out the attacks.

Delhi police source said that the LeT and the ISI are using code names to ward off surveillance mounted by various intelligence agencies in India and abroad.
