Pak ministry hands over report on 26/11 dossier to Gilani
Pakistan hopes to make public its investigation next week.

New Delhi: The Pakistan Interior Ministry has handed over its report on India's 26/11 dossier to Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani.

While India waits for Pakistan's response to the dossier, in an interview to Newsweek Gilani was quoted as saying, “With this incident all of our confidence-building measures became futile. Now, you can imagine who is the beneficiary, the terrorist. Therefore, I assure India and the world that whatever information has been given to us, we will probe and whoever was involved we will try according to our laws, and we will not allow our territory to be used for terrorism.”

Pakistan hopes to make public next week its investigation into the material provided by India about the Mumbai terror attacks, Gilani had said on Friday.

Speaking to journalists in Lahore, Gilani said he would not comment on the investigation until he saw the report.

Gilani said Pakistan was eager to resolve issues with India peacefully and through dialogue and that it wanted the Kashmir issue settled under UN resolutions and in accordance with the wishes of the Kashmiris.
