CHENNAI: Bharat Matrimony announced the results of their online survey in connection with Friendship Day falling on August 1.Shah Rukh Khan and Karan Johar were voted as India’s most famous friends in a survey conducted by BharatMatrimony on its portal as well as the social media.Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar emerged as the celebrity most of them preferred to have as a friend, bagging 27.8 per cent of the votes. SRK came to a close second followed by Aamir Khan in the survey in which over 16,000 members participated. Yeh Dosti from Sholay was voted as the most popular song about friendship while Jaane Tu and Dil Chahta Hai got the thumbs up as the most popular friendship movies with each bagging 39 per cent of the votes.Nearly 36 per cent said that chocolates were the ideal gift for Friendship Day followed by photo frames.When asked “which pair would you most like to see coming together again,” 39 per cent of the respondents wanted SRK and Salman Khan to patch up followed by Vinod Kambli and Sachin Tendulkar (23 per cent).
