Office-bearers elected

CHENNAI: K Syama Raju, a well known hotelier from Bangalore, was elected the President of SIHRA at the 60th Annual General Body meeting of SIHRA, held in Chennai recently. The other office bearers include Jose Dominic, Vice President for Kerala region, K Murali Rao, Vice President for Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry, GV Krishnaiah Vice President for Andhra Pradesh and KL Ramanatha Bhat Vice President for Karnataka. T Nataraajan was elected the Honorary Secretary of the association.Addressing the media after the AGM, the newly elected President, Syama Raju  urged the governments, both at the center and states to take a pragmatic view and bring in legislation that would help the industry and spur growth.
