Mumbai: Actor Abhishek Bachchan has dismissed reports that he and his wife Aishwarya Rai Bachchan will come together for the upcoming film 'Happy Anniversary'.
'Happy Anniversary' will be produced by Gaurang Doshi and directed by adman Prahlad Kakkar. The makers claimed that Abhishek and Aishwarya had signed a film that would mark Aishwarya's comeback post her pregnancy.
However, Abhishek insists that nothing has been finalised as yet. "Prahlad is a good friend of Aishwarya....he knows her since long. And that's how I know him. He met us and told us the basic idea, but we haven't heard the full script. Things are yet to be confirmed...we can't confirm anything right now its too premature. When things happen we shall let you know," Abhishek told reporters here at an event.
The celebrity couple has worked together in 'Guru' and 'Sarkaar Raj'. Aishwarya had done special song in 'Bunty Aur Babli' in which Abhishek and Amitabh Bachchan had acted. 'Happy Anniversary' will be based on the theme 'anatomy of marriage'. It will go on the floors from early next year and will be shot in South Africa.
According to sources, 'Happy Anniversary' will be made on an approximate budget of Rs 65 crore. There were reports that Aishwarya was to do a special song in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 'Ram Leela', which now Priyanka Chopra is doing.
When asked what went wrong and why she did not do the song, Aishwarya says, "Nothing need to go wrong. Either it goes right or it goes otherwise and this went otherwise. There is an answer in itself which you will get to know in due
course of time."
