Helsinki: Nokia, the world's top cellphone maker by volume, plans to cut 800 jobs in its home Finnish market, the STT news agency reported on Tuesday, citing labour sources.
Nokia was not immediately available for comment.
STT said the discussions between Nokia and its Finnish employee representatives began in October, when the company announced 1,800 job cuts worldwide.
