New Delhi: With ceasefire violations along with continuous terror activities from Pakistan on the rise, Home Minister Rajnath Singh on Monday held a high level meeting with top intelligence officials in the national capital.

According to sources, the Home Minister took a firm stand against terrorism and said that internal security will not be compromised even a bit. Sources also say that Rajnath told the forces should go all out against Pakistan.

The situation along the international border with Pakistan along with internal security was on agenda for the meet that was held at the Home Ministry. The meeting was attended by the chief of Intelligence Bureau, the Research and Analysis Wing (RAW) chief and other senior officials.

The meeting comes even as four Border Security Force (BSF) posts in Jammu and Kashmir's Samba and Hiranagar sectors were targeted in overnight firing on Sunday. The posts were targeted with small arms but no damage has been reported.

Firing was also seen near Pathankot at the Punjab border on Sunday. Police and BSF have stepped up security asking villagers not to panic but remain alert to situations.

Meanwhile, the security along the coastal areas in Gujarat has been tightened after a Pakistani boat was intercepted which later exploded near the Porbandar coast on the intervening night of December 31 and January 1. Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar along with the coast guards, has claimed that the boat had a terror motive and was not a mere smuggling boat.
